Public records / disclosures
VHL publishes enough information for readers to understand its research, people, governance, manuscript status, and scientific standards. It keeps signatures, private minutes, personal records, accounts, protected research material, and institutional approval records private.
Affiliations identify people. They do not create institutional sponsorship, endorsement, responsibility, or resource support unless a written agreement says so.
01 / Public and private
Private records are not published on this website or accepted through public contact channels.
Research scope, manuscript status, consenting member and advisor names, professional affiliations, governance structure, representative role, and public standards.
Support, conflicts, data provenance, code or model access, licenses, and corrections are disclosed when relevant and approved for public release.
Signed bylaws, full minutes, individual votes, private contact information, identity documents, member registers, accounts, receipts, and approval letters.
Controlled-access data, non-public datasets, patient information, security material, unpublished institutional or company information, and confidential agreements.
During patent filing and peer review, full manuscript PDFs are available only by private email request. The website displays blurred previews.
Do not send patient information, credentials, secrets, controlled-access data, non-public military or government information, or confidential material through public contact channels.
02 / Support
Money, cloud credits, GPU access, equipment, data access, or other research resources are accepted only under terms that identify the provider, allowed use, rights, publication conditions, data access, and conflicts.
Support does not confer control over authorship, publication, research conclusions, clinical decisions, institutional representation, or access to restricted data.
Members remain responsible for the employment, institutional, public-service, military, ethics, data-use, privacy, and intellectual-property duties that apply to them.
03 / Email inquiries
The manuscript request form builds a draft in the visitor’s email application. Nothing is transmitted to or stored by this website before the visitor sends that email.
Name, email, affiliation, role, professional profile, research interests, manuscript selection, and any other information the sender chooses to include.
Inquiry information is used to review and respond to manuscript, research, membership, or collaboration requests and to maintain records when required.
Messages are retained only as needed to handle the inquiry or meet applicable governance, legal, contractual, research-compliance, security, or financial record duties.
